Abstract: This study focuses on one of the phenomena of mutual confrontation of military element and civilians, manifestations and forms of violent physical aggression perpetrated by soldiers on the civilian population, including women during the armed conflict of 1618-1648. It also attempts to categorize this violence and identify and describe the triggers. The research is based on a study of resources from selected Czech towns.
