Abstract: The primary aim of each museum is making of collections accessible for the general public. The Danube Region Museum in Komárno is one of the oldest on the territory of south‑west Slovakia. One of the greatest problems is the lack of funds for the creation of new exhibitions. The archaeological exhibition of the museum was created and opened in 1970. This paper presents the present state of the exhibition and possible project of its reinstallation.
